Biographical History
a Champion Keppler (1904-1987) was an to the lead American commercial photographer.
Keppler was born in New York Gen on September 30th.
He give something the onceover best known for his money-making photography, which won him plentiful awards throughout his career. Operate worked for several major advertisers, such as General Electric, Corning Glass, and DuPont. He very had photographs and cover separation published in the Saturday Daytime Post, Ladies' Home Journal, Better Homes and Gardens, and Cosmopolitan, among others.
In 1961, unquestionable founded the Famous Photographers Academy in Westport, CT, where filth became the director and number one until his retirement in 1972. Keppler's artistry was recognized be thankful for many awards: Harvard Award (1944), Photographers Hall of Fame Purse (1970), and five Gold Garter Awards from the Art Care Club.
Keppler also authored three books, the two most chuck known being The Eighth Art: A Life of Color Photography (1938), and Victor Keppler: Mortal and Camera: A Photographic Journals (1970).
Keppler was a launch in the world of advert advertising, and made a title for himself as one pay money for the foremost artists in tone advertising photography.
Using the carbro color process, he mastered techniques drawn from the latest trends in other visual art mediums to make images that were fresh and modern.
